Las Vegas Justice Court Criminal Warrant Information

To resolve a criminal warrant, the defendant MUST do one of the following:

Contact an Attorney to complete the appropriate actions. If you are represented by private counsel, please contact them for assistance. If you are represented by the Clark County Public Defender's Office, you should contact that office for assistance. The Public Defender's Office phone number is (702) 455-4685. If you are represented by an attorney, only the attorney can submit a Motion to the court.

If you are NOT represented by an attorney, you can schedule a court appearance by coming to Justice Court Criminal Records Office, located on the 2nd floor of the Clark County Courthouse, 200 Lewis Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89155.

To schedule a court appearance, you must complete a Motion to Place on Calendar a proceeding to Recall or Quash the Warrant. The minimum time necessary to place a matter on calendar is two (2) judicial days. The warrant will stay in effect until the court appearance and it is recalled or quashed by a Judge.

City Of Las Vegas Warrant Information

When a person scheduled to appear in Court does not show up, a "Bench Warrant" is issued for their arrest. A Bench Warrant is one that a judge orders while on the courtroom bench and occurs on cases where a person has made at least one appearance on the charge. When this occurs, an additional charge for "Contempt of Court" may be assessed.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF I HAVE A WARRANT AND CAN I GO BACK TO COURT?

Call the Court's business office at (702) 382-6878 or Traffic School at (702) 229-2244 during regular business hours. If you have an existing warrant, go to Court's business counter or Traffic School to obtain a future court date. Be prepared to pay an administrative fee for each warrant that has been issued.

City Of Henderson Warrant Information

The Marshals Division of the Henderson Municipal Court is located on the 2nd Floor of the Henderson Justice Facility and is open from 7:45am to 5:00pm Monday through Thursday. The Marshals Division is closed on Friday and all federal holidays.

The main phone number for the Marshals Division is 702-267-3370.

The Marshals Division is responsible for processing warrants, providing security to the Justice Facility and Courtrooms, and assigning the Public Defender.

To confirm if you have a warrant or to find out the bail amount for your warrant: You need to call 702-267-3300, option #5.

If you have a Bench Warrant you may:

Post bail on the bench warrant. Bail must be posted IN FULL and can be paid ONLY in cash, cashiers check or money order. The court does not accept bonds, partial payments, or checks with a check guarantee card. Bail can be posted at the Municipal Court during normal business hours. When bail is posted you will be given a Court appearance date.

If you have a Warrant of Arrest:

You may clear a Warrant of Arrest the same way as you clear a bench warrant with the following exceptions:

The bail for most Warrants of Arrest can be posted with a bond. Please check with the Court to verify if you may post a bond.

You will be given a mandatory court appearance date when you post bail in order to answer to the charge on the Warrant of Arrest.

If you fail to appear for any required court appearance a bench warrant for your arrest will be issued for Failure to Appear, and you are subject to additional fines and penalties and DMV may suspend your drivers license.

Clark County Traffic Warrants

To resolve a traffic citation warrant, the defendant MUST do one of the following:

Pay the FULL BAIL AMOUNT shown on the notice of warrant by sending a personal check or money order, along with a copy of the notice to: Las Vegas Justice Court Traffic Office, P O Box 552511, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89155-2511. The warrant will not be recalled until the full payment is posted, and the check or money order is cleared by a financial institution.

Or, schedule a court appearance by coming to Justice Court Traffic Office, located on the 1st floor of the Clark County Courthouse, in downtown Las Vegas, two blocks south of the Fremont Experience at 200 Lewis Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89155. You will be required to deposit the full bail amount, including warrant fees, or the warrant will stay in effect until the court appearance and it is recalled by a Judge.

Contact an Attorney to complete the appropriate actions.

Persons with outstanding warrants from traffic citations will not be arrested in the Traffic Office.

Persons in jail as a result of a traffic warrant will not be released until the full bail amount is posted, or a release is granted by a Judge.
